Jake Tapper started to C-span while connecting the book to Biden’s Decline: “I really don’t like”

CNN’s anchor Jake Tapper faced a strong critique of a C-span trick on Tuesday on his new book on the cognitive decline of former President Biden, with the woman accusing him of unfair coverage and bias to current president, Donald Trump.

Tapper appeared in the Tuesday edition of “Washington Journal” to discuss “original sin: Decline’s decline, his coverage and his disastrous choice to work again,” the best-selling book he co-wrote with journalist Alex Thompson.

During the C-span call program, Tapper faced Sarah, a person who called Virginia who stated his frustration for what he saw as unilateral reports.

“I see you in CNN,” he started. “But right now, I really don’t like it. I think you’re doing a service to Joe and also in the North -American village.”

Sarah wondered why Tapper has not applied the same level of scrutiny to Trump’s behavior and physical form for the post.

“When you examine what happens to Trump? Joe Biden went for four years taking care of the United States. He held meetings. He went abroad. He negotiated with other leaders,” he said.

“This president has been pure chaos, which tells me that there is something wrong with him. We will never get a direct answer to his medical exams, what medication is, and yet, you have gone after Joe Biden with a revenge that … I am very disappointed in you.”

The person calling said he used to enjoy the Tapper show “The Lead”, but his recent focus had changed his vision.

“And I think right now you should start writing another book that examined Trump and how erratic [he is] And what he is doing, shouting at the National Guard, the Marines and everyone, “he added.

“When a president has ever done? It’s pure erratic!”

Tapper, who acknowledged that he could not properly devote himself to scrutiny to Biden’s physical fitness while president despite the apparent signs of his decay, responded calmly, defending his coverage and encouraging viewers to tune in his daily broadcast of CNN.

“Sarah, as you know how to see my program in CNN, cover President Trump every day for two hours, every day from 5 to 7 oriental people, and cover all the things you talk about, in terms of the behavior of the current president,” he said.

He said past cases in which Trump confused public figures, saying: “We have covered the times that Nancy Pelosi has confused with Nikki Haley.”

“I think some of the questions about President Trump’s behavior have more to do with personality than with cognitive decay,” said Tapper.

“Any lesson we have learned to cover President Biden, we would ask any politician,” he continued.

“So I am sorry if I will be disappointed by covering President Biden. But journalists are supposed to deal with stories that we think that the North -American people have the right to know, that we think will improve the understanding of how the country is heading.”

Tapper closed the exchange by reaffirming his belief in the book. “We are proud of this book,” he added, adding that CNN would continue to cover current events in the coming days.

“Washington Journal” is a live and daily call program in C-span that allows viewers to directly relate to elected officials, journalists, policy experts and other public figures on current political and political issues.

It is usually transmitted every morning, seven days a week and covers a wide range of topics, such as legislation, national events and public affairs.

The show is known for its non -filtered interactive format by which viewers call and ask questions or share live opinions in the air, often divided by political affiliation.

“Everyone knows that people who call C-span are crunchy and this is part of the charm of the show,” a media source said in The Post.

Unlike many news programs, “Washington Journal” maintains a non -partisan approach, providing a neutral platform for discussion and civic commitment.

Since its launch, Tapper has made headlines calling the alleged coverage “worse than Watergate” and describing Hunter Biden as “family chief of the family”. He also stated that “conservative media was right” to raise concern about Biden’s age.

Chamber Republicans have already cited the book to justify extended research on what is stated in Biden’s health.
